Welcome to FOX SPORTS’ live coverage of the Socceroos’ World Cup 2022 qualifier against Nepal in Canberra.
Australia head into the fixture on the back of a thumping 3-0 win away in the 40-degree heat of Kuwait where Aaron Mooy made a goalscoring return to the squad following his injury problems.
Mathew Leckie scored the other two as he took over the captaincy in the absence of Mark Milligan and goals are expected to be aplenty once again in Canberra this evening.

Nepal are ranked 161st in the world in FIFA’s official rankings, while the Socceroos are 44th – a massive 117 places ahead of their visitors.
Graham Arnold has already confirmed Scottish-born Harry Souttar will make his Socceroos debut from the start.
The 6ft 6in defender qualifies for Australia through his mother and arrived in the country for the first time this week to meet up with the rest of the squad.
“It’s a great moment for Harry because Harry has lived over in the UK his whole life, but even as a kid he had posters in his room of the Socceroos boys,” Arnold said.
“He’s been an Australian football fan all of his junior life and you know his brother plays Scotland so we might have to tee up a friendly between Australia and Scotland.
“It’s a great occasion for Harry and for him to do it here in Australia is fantastic.”
The game at the GIO Stadium kicks off at 8pm this evening and is available to watch on FOX SPORTS 505 with coverage starting from 7.30pm (AEDT).
