Meet the baby Cats wearing the most famous Geelong numbers of all

Geelong has presented its 2019 draftees with their jumper numbers for 2020.

Cooper Stephens – the Cats’ first selection at this year’s draft – has taken up the No. 12 jumper vacated by Wylie Buzza, while defender Sam De Koning will don the No. 16 jumper.

Scott Selwood (retired) was the most recent player to inhabit the guernsey made famous by forward Billy Brownless at the end of the last century.

But the Cats’ draftees weren’t the only players to receive the playing strips for next season.

Four-time best and fairest at St Kilda, Jack Steven, will wear the No. 9 jumper.

Josh Jenkins, meanwhile, will take over the No. 11 jumper that Tim Kelly wore for his two seasons at the club.
