Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was looking to guide his team down the field when he was faced with a 2nd & 9 from his own 21 yard line.
As he loaded up to throw the ball downfield it was swatted by a Vikings defensive linesman before Wilson elevated in an attempt to swat the ball to the turf.
Unfortunately his attempt went forward were it landed in the arms of Vikings players Anthony Harris who streaked into the end zone for the pick-6 score.
“Can you believe this, Anthony Harris pick-6 pinball style … wow,” an ESPN commentator said.
“Outrageous way to score for the Vikings.”
Wilson is one of the leading contenders in NFL MVP race, but has been overtaken in recent weeks by the stellar play of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The outrageous play was Wilson’s second interception in the season and helped the Vikings take a 17-10 lead into the half.
Thankfully Wilson came out firing in the second half and helped the Seahawks retake the lead by scoring the first 10 points of the third quarter.
In the dying minutes of the third he unleashed a deep bomb to a wide open David Moore to extend the lead to 27-17.
The Seahawks went on to win the contest 37-30.
